For Mental Health Consumers, Getting a Job can be Hard. Keeping the Job Can be an On-Going Struggle, Difficult to Start, but There are Many Techniques to Help you to Succeed!

In This Work Shop You Will Learn the 4 Areas of Awareness You Need to Know to Avoid Potential Job Problems as a Consumer:

1. Know Yourself: Accurate Diagnosis, Triggers, Strengths and Weaknesses, Goals and Your Work Style

2. Know What to Expect: Your Job Description, Company Policies, Who’s in Charge, and How/When to Get Assistance

3. What Can Go Wrong: Life Changes, Burn Out, Gossip, Office Politics, Fears, or Relapse—Even Termination!

4. Where to Get Help: Friends, Family, Peer Support Groups, Therapist, Self-Help Books, Drop-In Centers, and Personal Spirituality
