I heard about LMEC while visiting the SkillSource Center in Seven Corners. I saw a brochure and was interested in a “Unique Approach to Free Employment Assistance, Computer Training and Peer Support.”
Although, I have taken computer courses in the past, I wanted to rebuild my skills. I was greeted by a friendly staff, and was given information on LMEC’s services. I felt comfortable here which made the learning process easier for me. The atmosphere at LMEC is very peaceful and uplifting. After taking several night classes I learned more at LMEC than from other tuition schools.
While I was attending the classes, I have also attended some workshops which helped me to maximize my abilities in job searching skills to obtain work. I have also used the Resource Room and their tutorial programs to improve my typing speed. I enjoy the ability to work at my own pace and I have made several good friends in the process.
I have talked about LMEC so much, my brother, Rory is now also coming.So far I have passed the Word, Excel and PowerPoint exams and…
